We’ve told you the date for the next ProBlogger Training Event and we hinted that we’re moving locations but we’ve been holding you in suspense for over a month now – so the time has come to reveal some more secret details of PBEVENT in 2013.
The 4th ProBlogger Training event will be held…. on the Gold Coast – Queensland Australia!
Last year’s event was amazing. People loved the speakers, our evening cocktail party, the opportunity to network over 2 days instead of 1 and much more.
In fact as our team looked over the overwhelmingly positive survey feedback forms that attendees filled out we started to stress out and asked:
‘How are we going to top this next year?’
At that point we knew we needed to do something pretty radical to shake things up a little.
Tourism and Events Queensland had been quietly suggesting for a while now that they’d love to have us come and play in their beautiful backyard so we decided to explore the possibility.
One thing led to another and here we are today – imagining cocktails by the pool, walks along the beach…. oh and some serious Blogger Training from some wonderful speakers that will help you take your blog to the next level!
Tickets are not yet on sale but we wanted to give you this information today so you can begin to make plans to be involved. Here’s some more information that you’ll need to know.
The Event Dates
As we mentioned late last year – this year we’re moving the event forward into September and will be gathering on the Gold Coast on Friday 13th – Saturday 14th September.
But Wait There’s More exciting news…
This Year We have ‘Pop-Up Experiences’ Before and After the event
Our event partner this year is Tourism and Events Queensland and they’re wanting to make this event as memorable and fun for you as possible and will be offering some ‘pop-up’ experiences both in the day before and days after the event.
We’re still putting the final touches on these pop-up experiences but they’ll showcase some of what the amazing Gold Coast has to offer, be a chance to have some fun, perhaps some pampering, or maybe some adventure or even a little indulgence with other bloggers and hopefully provide you with some relevant and interesting experiences to write about on your blog.
So – don’t book your flights quite yet – we’ll do our best to get details of what these experiences are and how you can apply to join in the fun in the coming week or so.
The Event Hotel
I’m really excited about the venue for this year’s event. Jasmin and I spent a day on the Gold Coast last year looking at potential venues and when we walked into the QT Gold Coast in Surfers Paradise I think we both just ‘knew’ that it was the home for PBEVENT 2013.
From top to bottom the QT Gold Coast is totally Instagrammable!
They have a fun vibe, friendly staff and colourful interiors. The rooms we’re holding the conference are in are fantastic but there’s also plenty to explore around the hotel with some great bars and restaurants, an amazing Day Spa, a wonderful pool and much more.
I’m sure we’ll have a great time together at the QT Gold Coast.
More Details to Come
In the coming month expect to hear a lot more about this year’s PBEVENT. Our team are currently mapping out where we want to go with our schedule, have begun talking to some international and local speakers about joining us and are working on some fun evening functions that will give you opportunity to mix and mingle with hundreds of other bloggers from around Australia and the world.
Speaking of ‘around the world’ – having moved this event to Queensland does make this event a little more accessible to international attendees. It’s just a relatively short flight from different parts of Asia and shorter than the 14 hour flight to Melbourne from the US. If you’re reading this from overseas why not consider making the trip – we’d love to have you join us for what will be an amazing few days of blogging and experiencing some of the best Australia has to offer – and while you’re here why not stay on to explore the rest of what Queensland has to offer (there’s so much to see).
As usual this event will be unashamedly a ‘training’ event and you’ll be sure to go home with a head full of ideas, information and inspiration to take your blog to the next level.
