PBEVENT Speaker Announcement : Brands, Bloggers and Readers panel

Four more speakers will be joining us on the Gold Coast for the “Brands, Bloggers and Readers” panel.
Moderated by the super-organised PBEVENT curator, and founder of Planning with Kids, Nicole Avery, our panellists will offer very different perspectives on navigating the three way partnership successfully. We can’t wait for this one!
Mandy Griffiths
Mandy has worked at international PR agency Porter Novelli for almost six years, specialising in social media. She is a founding member of PN Social, and in 2013 was awarded the national Emerging PR Professional of the year award by CommsCon.
She is regular speaker at Porter Novelli’s Digital Insights summits and the Asia Pacific lead for PNConnect, a network of digital communication leaders within the large international Porter Novelli network.
As a social media strategist Mandy has created and managed campaigns for Walt Disney Studios, Warner Bros, Bupa, Melbourne International Jazz Festival, Alzheimer’s Australia, Study Melbourne, St Vincent De Paul Society, Australian Dental Association, Libra, and NAB.

Kate McKibbin
Before launching DropDeadGorgeousDaily.com in 2007 Kate McKibbin worked for several women’s glossies, both here and in the UK, including Shop Til You Drop, New Woman, Grazia.com.au, Cosmopolitan UK, and even had a column in FHM.
Kate has listed shopping as her number one hobby from about the age of five. Kate was crowned as one of Anthill’s 30 under 30 entrepreneurs in 2010.
Ngahuia “Laney” Galligan
Ngahuia “Laney” Galligan is the founder and director of Agents of Influence, an agency focused on bespoke brand partnerships for bloggers beyond the sponsored post.
Laney introduced the first native advertising solution designed for bloggers to integrate their partners’ content and represents influencers such as Darren Rowse from ProBlogger and Digital Photography School and Nicole Avery from Planning With Kids. Before launching her agency she blogged successfully as Crash Test Mummy and worked with Sarah Wilson to secure brand partners for I Quit Sugar. Laney’s passion is helping people earn a living from theirs.

David Krupp
David is Nuffnang‘s country manager and has been a key figure in the Australian blogosphere for the last five years.
David was Nuffnang’s first ever employee and given Nuffnang was the first agency in Australia to help bloggers monetise their blogs, he has been instrumental in educating clients, creating awareness and building the blogging industry to what it is today.

Adam Marks
Adam Marks is the Digital Marketing Executive for Westfield Shopping Centres. It was during the roll out of national fashion campaigns that he first began to integrate bloggers across multiple customer touch points including the Westfield website, mobile applications, direct and digital channels and social networks to improve and add value to the end-to-end customer experience.
When Adam is not holding a diary in his hand to look like he is heading to important meetings, he can be found at LinkedIn.
