Networking events and options at PBEVENT

Earlier this week we shared your top 5 networking tips. We know that connecting with other bloggers and celebrating our community is a big part of ProBlogger Event. This year we’ve taken on feedback and an understanding of different personality types and come up with a range of networking styles and options we hope you will enjoy.
Newbie Orientation
Thursday 3.30pm-4:00pm, Hydrate Bar
Is it your first time? Just for you we’ve got a newbie orientation with Darren and Olympus are working on something fun to get you warmed up for the networking to follow! We’ll register you at the orientation, so see you nice and early at 3.30pm.
Early Registration and Welcome Networking
Thursday 4.00pm-7:00pm, Hydrate Bar
This year we’re ‘all in’ so we can all get to know each other before the training starts. Come and say hello. We’ll also have opportunities for you to connect with attending brands and agencies and of course Olympus! More details on that to come.
If you have your complimentary drink ticket from your accommodation package you can use that, otherwise drinks, snacks and more available for purchase at the bar.
Find your niche
Friday and Saturday morning and afternoon breaks, Benowa Foyer
If you haven’t already found your niche via our Facebook Group niche threads, we’ll help you find your tribe at the event. Firstly, you can personalise your lanyard with niche stickers available at registration.
Then, at our morning and afternoon breaks you can meet up with like-minded bloggers at our designated niche tables. Great if you’re a bit shy about approaching people randomly in a crowd. At least you’ll know you have something in common with everyone else at the table!
Table Talks
Friday and Saturday lunch breaks, Benowa Foyer
Feel like a bit of a discussion? Each lunch break there will be table talks on particular topics or niches, moderated by our attending brands and agencies. No need to book, just grab a free seat and join the discussion. Our moderators will make you feel welcome. Table talk topics will be added to the schedule in due course.
Friday Night Networking
Friday 6:30pm-8:30pm, Poolside
At the end of day one please join us poolside for networking drinks and canapes and the opportunity to continue conversations with new friends and make more new connections (you’ll be heard over the music!). Our theme this year is ‘Shine’, so bring out that inner spark with a touch of shimmer, sheen or shine and light it up! It could be as easy as adding a few sequins, metallics or you could go fluoro! Olympus will be on the ball to help you capture your spectacular self.
Some light finger food, beer, wine and soft drinks will be provided for your enjoyment.
Your Choice!
Friday 8:30pm onwards
Our poolside networking is focused on …well, networking! But, if you feel like continuing on then the resort has options, whatever your style.
Head to Hydrate Bar if you’re up for a bit of a dance
If you’d prefer a quiet dinner with a group of friends there are a number of restaurant options: Kalinda, Arakawa, Trattoria Amici, Videre.
We hope we’ve got you covered and that you have an amazing time meeting new people and starting all sorts of exciting collaborations.
Saturday Night
There are lots of you sticking around an extra night. Our team will be heading to Hydrate Bar after a bite to eat. We’ll see you there!
