After announcing our first keynote speaker yesterday – Australia’s very own Sarah Wilson – today I’m excited to announce our International guest to the ProBlogger Training Event in Melbourne – Mr Chris Guillebeau.
Chris has been on my hit list to get to Australia to speak to our blogging community for some time now and I was over the moon when he agreed to fly in from the US to be with us in October.
Who Is Chris Guillebeau
Chris Guillebeau travels the world and writes for a small army of remarkable people at chrisguillebeau.com. His latest book, The $100 Startup, provides a blueprint for readers to create their own freedom business by improving the lives of others. Follow his live updates from every country in the world at @ChrisGuillebeau
I’ve met Chris in person at US events and he’s a great guy – very smart, humble and a pleasure to know. He’s spoken around the world at many events including his own major annual event – the World Domination Summit – and is going to bring some great experience and insight to our gathering.
Chris’ Sessions at ProBlogger Training Event
Chris will be involved in two sessions at the ProBlogger Training Event.
Closing Day 1 Keynote: Making Money and Changing the World through Blogging
How to create a sustainable income through blogging—the real story, with lots of examples and specific data. Attendees will walk away understanding what to do and what to avoid in their quest to monetize their blogs without “selling out.”
Beyond the Ebook (Workshop)
How to meet different needs (and sell more to eager buyers) by offering different kinds of products to your readers. He’ll discuss pricing and at least six specific ways to ramp up income over the next year.
He’s also the kind of guy that you can approach between sessions so you’ll have plenty of opportunity to pick his brain and get to know him!
Tickets Go On Sale This Friday
We are fast approaching the release of tickets to the ProBlogger Training Day. Tomorrow and Thursday I shall share more speakers and sessions and on Friday we’ll release a limited number of early bird tickets (discounted).
To be notified via email of tickets being released and to get details of dates/venues/etc check out this post.
I’m getting excited…. bring on October!
